Arthur wrote to me! my darling friend from Canada who I had not heard from in a month. He sent me a package which he had mailed out on the 22nd September so it had taken a long time to get to me, probably the mail strikes, he sent me lots of little gifts including maple syrup candy which is really yummy and was too pretty to eat in the shape of a maple leaf. Arthur also wrote me another letter last week which got there at the same time as the package. His computer is dead and I think he is not in the financial position to buy a new one, like most people in work he works every hour God sends and the money goes on the bills and rent.

So at least I know he loves me still and he is just computerless for now, so we are just going to be good old fashioned snail mail friends for now until he gets back on line.
